Reinhold Earns Lacrosse Honor

Courtney Reinhold swa her draw control numbers increase in each of her four seasons. After scoring 19 total goals in her first three seasons, she led the Eagles with 43 in her senior year.
With graduation and injuries
reducing the Eagles' offensive threats from 2011, Reinhold took more of
an aggressive role in the attack for Eagles. Primarily a defensive and
transition specialist in her first three seasons, Reinhold spent more
time around the attacking fan in 2012. Her time in the offensive zone
proved to be profitable as she led the Eagles with 43 goals. Just under
half (47.3 percent) of her shots attempts resulted in goals. She scored
at least one goal in every game except Eastern's lopsided win at Wilkes.
Her offensive development did not reduce her defensive responsibilities. The speedy midfielder was often required to use her strength and athleticism to match up with a top attacker from an opposing team. She led the Eagles with 40 caused turnovers, 61 draw controls, and 41 ground balls.
