Jenna Laubach won her opening rounds in both singles and doubles competitions.

WILKES BARRE, Pa.- Eastern University Women's Tennis wrapped up the fall portion of its schedule with the MAC Individual Meet.

The tournament lasted only one day for the Eagles as they were not able to advance past the second round in any flight. Jenna Laubach won her opening match at first singles over an opponent from FDU-Florham, but the sophomore then fell in straight sets to Melanie Nolt from Wilkes.

None of the other Eastern singles players were able to advance out of the opening round. Laubach and her doubles partner Jenn Balbi, topped their opponents from King's in the first round of the second doubles flight before falling to a Misericordia tandem.

The Eagles will resume competition in March.
