Men's Tennis Competes At MAC Tournament
WILKES-BARRE, Pa.--Eastern Men's Tennis competed in its only fall contest on Saturday, participating in the MAC individual tournament.
Two Eastern players advanced to the quarter finals. Eastern junior Dan Fowler, new to the roster this advanced in the No. 1 flight. Fowler defeated Misericordia's Sal Saranti 6-1, 6-2. Fowler however fell to Elizabethtown's Eric Fritzges by the same score in the quarterfinal round.
Eastern's Tyler Schultz won in the No. 3 flight, handling Albright's Terrence Goode 6-1, 6-1. Schultz was then knocked out in the quarterfinals 6-1, 6-0 by Wilkes' Andrew Wilson.
