Eagles Fall To Crusaders

ST. DAVIDS, Pa.--Eastern Women's Tennis fell 7-2 on a windy Thursday afternoon, hosting the Alvernia University Crusaders.

The Eagles earned a win in doubles play with Elaine Grazulis and Angela Anthony defeating Alvernia's Lillian Hussar and Kristy Schwenk nine games to seven.

In singles play, Kathleen Duffy earned a 9-7 win in the sixth spot.

Grazulis, after getting swept in the first set of her singles match, forced a tie-breaker in the second set but fell 7-6 (7-3).

The Eagles host Lancaster Bible College on Wednesday at 3 p.m.
