Eagles Cruise Past Bryn Athyn

Eastern's J.C. Hofmeister scored three times in Saturday's win.

BRYN ATHYN, Pa--Fifteen different Eagles scored goals in Saturday's 22-1 non-conference rout of the Bryn Athyn College Lions.

Eastern Men's Lacrosse improved to 6-2 this season with the win. The Bryn Athyn Lions, in their first season with a lacrosse team, are now 1-3.

J.C. Hofmeister led the Eagles with three goals. Brock Warner, Eric Waibel, Kyle Lansey, Kyle Gillam and Desmond Decker each scored twice. Cody Ridgway, Cameron Tough, Sterling Long, Andrew Travers, John Dunn, Bryan Schwartz, Grant Ferguson, Peter Alloway and Matt Soldano all scored a goal as well.

Eastern goalkeepers Pat Groschan, Nick DiPiano and Mark Orebiyi combined for nine saves.

The Eagles play at Messiah College at 7 p.m. on Thursday.
