Eagles Second at Crossgate

Kaleigh Boreman again finished atop the Eastern list at Millersville.

MILLERSVILLE, Pa.- Eastern University Women's Golf ground out a second place finish on a tough day of golf at the Crossgates Golf Club in an invitational hosted by Millersville University. Kaleigh Boreman finished eighth overall, and the Eagles were able to put four golfers in the top fifteen to finish in front of Ursinus and Muhlenburg.

On a day with painfully slow play and difficult course conditions, Boreman's 99 was just three strokes off the lead. Cold, wind, and early season conditions slowed play to nearly a crawl. The round finished in just under six and a half hours.

While Boreman led the way, the Eagles earned the result by putting all four golfers within 17 shots of the lead. Sarah Webb finished with a 105. Bianca Scrimali and Kearby Benak shot a 107 and 110 respectively on the 5800 yard par 75 layout.

The Eagles will be at the Gettysburg Invitational for two days next weekend.
