Eagles Sixth at Hanover CC

Kaleigh Boreman finished in a tie for 18th at Gettysburg.

ABBOTTSTOWN, Pa.-Eastern University Women's Golf finished sixth in the two-day Gettysburg Spring Invitational.

Kaleigh Boreman led the way with a two-day total of 197 over the 5,805 yards of the Hanover Country Club.

Eastern shot a 430 and was sixth on the opening day. The separation on the first day was such that no teams changed places after the first 18 holes of competition. Gettysburg won the invitational with a two-day total of 701.

Boreman improved on her day-one 99 with a 98 on the second day. Elayna Simpson carded a 105 in her first competitive round of the year and bounced back on day two with a 108. Bianca Scrimali and Sarah Webb dropped their scored from day one to complete the scoring for the Eagles. 

Eastern is at Stevenson University for an invitational next Saturday.
