Eagles Fall 8-1 To West Chester

Nicole Filipek won her match 7-5, 0-6, 10-5 on Thursday.

WEST CHESTER, Pa.--Eastern Women's Tennis challenged the Division II West Chester University Rams on Thursday afternoon.

Eastern's Nicole Filipek took the only match for the Eagles. Filipek won her first set 7-5, but was shut out in the second set. Filipek came back in the third set with a 10-5 victory.

Jenna Laubach defeated West Chester's No. 1 last season, but fell 6-3, 6-4 to her on Tuesday.

Elaine Grazulis went three sets in her match, but fell 10-3 in the tiebreaker set.

The Eagles finish their season at King's College on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
