Laubach Named to Freedom First Team

Jenna Laubach again earns recognition as an All-Freedom Performers.

ANNVILLE,Pa.-The Middle Atlantic Conference Office today released All-Conference lists for Women's Tennis. Eastern University sophomore Jenna Laubach was recognized as a First Team All-Conference performer.

Laubach finished her 2012-13 campaign with a 10-5 mark at the top singles spot. Her only singles loss in league play came to Freedom Conference Player of the Year Melanie Nolt from Wilkes. She had two-set singles wins over two other members of the Freedom Conference first team and a win over a second-team honoree.

Laubach won eight of her final ten singles matches. Laubach and doubles partner Jenn Balbi went 3-3 at the first doubles spot.

Laubach earned all-league recognition and Rookie of the Year honors in 2011-12 as well.

Eastern graduates just one senior from this year's roster.
