Meghan Nowak has 925 points and 489 rebounds in two seasons at Eastern.

Eastern University junior Meghan Nowak is set to tour Brazil with a group of Division III stars from across the country. Nowak, a two-time All-Freedom Conference performer, will leave on August 4 and return on the 13th.

In addition to playing four games against top-level Brazilian teams, the group will have the opportunity to experience Brazilian culture with visits to schools and sports clubs. The trip group will play games in and around São Paolo and Rio de Janeiro, and they will visit various cultural landmarks of both areas.

Nowak led the Eagles in scoring in each of her first two seasons. She was named Freedom Conference Rookie of the Year and Player of the Year in 2012. She was selected by D3Hoops.com as the National Rookie of the Year. Eastern made the Freedom Conference Tournament in each of her two seasons.

Her team includes players from Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Texas, Wisconsin, and Minnesota.
