Badecki Named New Women's Golf Coach

ImageST. DAVIDS, Pa.--Eastern University athletic director Nate Davis made his first official new hire, naming Jason Badecki facilities manager and head coach for Women's Golf.

Badecki, of Mullica Hill, N.J., is a 2012 graduate of the Rutgers University School of Business. Badecki played for the Rutgers-Camden golf team and was a North Eastern Athletic Conference Scholar Athlete in 2010 and 2011.

"I'm blessed to have this opportunity," he said. "I really feel that God has called me here for a reason and I am super pumped to be a part of Eastern University where I get to pursue my passion for golf by working to further the success of the Women's Golf program."

Eastern's women's golf team, now entering its third year as a program, was previously coached by Nate Davis. While Davis still feels a part of the golf program he helped build, he is excited to hand over the reins to Badecki. "He is a knowledgeable and energetic coach that I have no doubt will take our women's golf program to new heights," Davis said. "I look forward to working with him to continue to build a women's golf program that can compete for conference championships and beyond."

In addition to coaching, Badecki will begin working this weekend as the athletic department facilities manager.
