Jaindl Named Player Of The Week

ImageANNVILLE, Pa.--The Middle Atlantic Conferences named senior forward Jess Jaindl (Quakertown, Pa./Christopher Dock) as the Freedom Conference Player of the Week for the week of Sept. 16-22.

Jaindl played a large part in Eastern's 4-3 win over No. 18 Rowan University on Saturday. Jaindl scored two second-half goals against the Rowan Profs, redirecting a ball on a corner play for her first goal and then using a quick stick less than a minute later to finish a pass in front of Rowan's keeper.

Jaindl also scored in Wednesday's game against Alvernia University. Jaindl put Eastern up 2-0 in that game with a reverse stick shot.

She leads the Eagles with six goals this season. With 54 career goals, Jaindl is tied for fourth all-time at Eastern.

The Eagles, 3-4 this season, look to get back to .500 when they play at Arcadia on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
