Giovagnoli Named Player of the Week

Eric Giovagnoli has six goals and six assists to help the Eagles get off to an 8-1 start through the first half of the season.

Eric Giovagnoli scored two goals and two assists this past week.

ANNVILLE, Pa.--Eric Giovagnoli earned the Freedom Conference Player of the Week for Men's Soccer for the week of Sept. 23-39.

Giovagnoli, a sophomore forward from Royersford, Pa. (Spring-Ford), made a difference in two road wins this past week for the Eagles. He setup both of Eastern's goals in Wednesday night's win over Drew University, a regionally-ranked opponent. Giovagnoli also scored Eastern's first two goals in a 4-0 win over Albright College.

Giovagnoli leads the Eagles in scoring this season with six goals and six assists. This is the second time this season Giovagnoli has been named Player of the Week.
