Charlebois Scores Six As Eagles Sink Pirates

Anna Charlebois increased her season goal total from two to eight in Wednesday's win.

GEORGETOWN, Texas--Eastern Women's Lacrosse pillaged the Southwestern University Pirates 19-4 on Wednesday night.

Eagles' freshman Anna Charlebois netted a game-high six goals in the win. Shannon Wilcox and Sara Blaylock each scored three times. Caleigh Falco, Jenn McKelvie and Angalena Malavenda all scored two goals, and Kelsie Andrews scored once.

Megan McReynolds picked up the win in goal, making three saves.

Charlebois opened the game's scoring with a free-position shot with 26:29 left in the first half and scored the game's first three goals.

Southwestern got on the scoreboard with 22:20 to play, but then Eastern rattled off six consecutive goals to effectively put the game out of reach in the first half.

Eastern returns to Pennsylvania for a home game against Alvernia on Wednesday at 4 p.m.
