Eagles Overpowered By No. 5 Lions

ImageEWING, N.J.--Eastern Women's Lacrosse returned to action for the first time since March 19, taking on the No. 5 TCNJ Lions on Saturday.

 

The Eagles were outmatched against the perennial women's lacrosse powerhouse and fell by a final score of 18-0. The Eagles committed 28 turnovers in the loss and were held without a shot.  

The Lions improved to 8-0 with the shutout win. Jen Garavente led the Lions with four goals.

Eastern (3-5) hosts King's College on Wednesday at 4 p.m. for the first Freedom Conference game of the season.
