ANNVILLE, Pa.—Eastern Women’s Lacrosse had three players recognized by the Freedom Conference on Tuesday for their play this season.

Eastern’s Ariana Borreggine was named to the Freedom Conference First Team, Anna Charlebois was named to the Second Team and goalie Megan McReynolds earned an Honorable Mention.

Borreggine (Medford, N.J/ Shawnee) is a junior defender who transferred to Eastern at the beginning of the year. Borreggine grabbed 41 ground balls and 28 draw controls and caused 35 turnovers. Borreggine also scored four goals this season.

Midfielder Anna Charlebois, a freshman from Royersford, Pa. (Spring-Ford), led the Eagles with 35 goals in her rookie campaign. She also picked up 19 draw controls and caused 16 turnovers.

Megan McReynolds (Abingdon, Md./ New Covenant Christian), the Eagles’ freshman goalie, stopped an impressive 126 shots this season. McReynolds recorded double-digit saves in four games this season. She stopped a season-high 20 shots against Alvernia in March and also stopped 17 shots in a triple-overtime win over King’s.

These talented players helped pull the Eagles within one game of the Freedom Conference playoffs and should continue to help the Eagles strive for success next season.
