HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla.--Eastern Women's Golf was set to tee off at 1:05 on Wednesday, but a four-hour lightning delay pushed back their start.

The Eagles completed six holes before it was too dark to continue.

The Eagles will resume the second round tomorrow morning, and then after completing those remaining 12 holes, will get an hour break before starting the next round of 18 holes. Questionable weather expected on Thursday may affect this format as well.

Eastern began on hole 10 and completed up through hole 15. Kaleigh Boreman had a team-best 30 (+7) through six holes. As a team, the Eagles have a score of 131 so far.
