ANNVILLE, Pa.--Eastern Men's Lacrosse had two players selected to the Middle Atlantic Conference's Academic All-Conference team for the 2014 season on Thursday.

Eastern's Andy Jameson (State College, Pa./ State College) and Andrew Travers (Crofton, Md./ DeMatha) were two of 12 players chosen to the squad out of all of the 16 MAC lacrosse teams. The players are nominated and voted upon by the sports information departments of the MAC schools. The distinction recognizes their accomplishments on the field and in the classroom.

Jameson, who was also named a USILA Scholar All-American and a Freedom Conference first-teamer, graduated with a 3.83 GPA while studying accounting/finance and management.

Travers, who like Jameson scored 17 goals this season, was also a member of the Freedom Conference First Team. A junior, Travers has recorded a 3.56 GPA while studying Middle Level Education.

Jameson and Travers helped Eastern to a Freedom Conference Championship and an NCAA tournament appearance.
