Eastern's Kaleigh Boreman (left) and Sarah Webb (right) were two of six players named to the MAC's Academic All-Conference squad.

ANNVILLE, Pa.--The Middle Atlantic Conference announced Thursday the members of the 2014 Academic All-Conference team for women's golf. Eastern's Kaleigh Boreman and Sarah Webb were two of the six golfers from the MAC named to the team.

By being named to the MAC Academic All-Conference team, Webb and Boreman were recognized for their excellence both on the golf course and in the classroom. The team is nominated and voted on by the sports information departments of the MAC schools.

Webb (San Diego, Calif./ Patrick Henry) graduated in May with a 3.71 GPA and a bachelor's degree in exercise science and was named to the Freedom Conference's Second Team after shooting a 94 at the MAC Championships.

Boreman (New Cumberland, Pa./ Red Land) also shot a 94 at the championship to earn Second-Team honors. Boreman, a junior marketing major, has a 3.64 GPA.

Both Boreman and Webb are two-sport athletes; Boreman plays on the Women's Basketball team and Webb is on the Field Hockey team.

Eastern Women's Golf won its second MAC Championship in a row this year and made it to the NCAA Championships for the first time in program history.
