Men's Soccer To Host Nation's Largest ID Camp
This Future 500 ID camp, already nearly 95% full, is designed to identify the future of men's collegiate soccer by bringing in 500 high school players and having them work with coaches from more than 50 NCAA Division I, II, and III schools. Players will be working in small groups with coaches from different schools and will have the opportunity to play in at least 10 matches, allowing them to be evaluated by nearly all of the camp's 50 coaches.
Additionally, on opening night of camp, Austin Berry, the MLS's Rookie of the Year in 2012 will be speaking about succeeding as a player in college. Berry was an All-American at the University of Louisville and now currently plays for the Philadelphia Union.
Mark Wagner, head coach of Eastern Men's Soccer and co-founder of T3Soccer, noted that players from 38 states and 11 different countries are coming to Eastern's campus for the camp.
While most of the Future 500 ID camp takes place on the soccer field, T3Soccer also offers helpful seminars for players and parents about preparing for the college recruiting and search process and about succeeding as a student and athlete while in college.
